What’s New
Texting now works the same wherever you compose: the contact’s Texts tab and the Inbox, on both the web app and the mobile app.
Features
- Schedule texts from anywhere. The “schedule for later” option — previously mobile-only — is now in the web Texts tab, the web Inbox, and mobile Inbox conversations. Scheduled messages from a shared team inbox send from the inbox’s own number when the time comes.
- Voice notes in the Inbox. Record and send iMessage voice notes from Inbox conversations (web and mobile) when replying from an iMessage line — previously only possible from the contact’s Texts tab.
- Multiple attachments in the Inbox. Attach up to 10 files (images, videos, PDFs) to an Inbox reply on SMS lines, matching the Texts tab. iMessage lines keep their one-attachment limit.
Improvements
- A “scheduled messages” strip above each conversation shows pending scheduled texts with inline edit and cancel — in the Texts tab and in Inbox conversations, on web and mobile.
- Inbox attachments are now validated before sending (file types and the 5 MB MMS total), with clear error messages instead of silent failures.
- Mobile: personal-inbox conversations without a linked contact now show a reply composer instead of no way to respond.
