Two small things in the phone section of a contact.
Resume SMS was hidden from the people who needed it
When a carrier rejects texts to a number, Sure Send pauses SMS to that contact
and shows a Resume SMS button so you can clear it yourself once the number
checks out.
If your team locked the phone field, that button was hidden from anyone who is
not an owner or admin — even though resuming was never actually blocked. A
member who owns the contact had to ask support for something they were always
allowed to do.
The lock exists to stop people changing a phone number. Resuming does not
touch the number; it only clears the paused state. So the button now appears
for anyone who can manage that contact’s phone numbers. Editing, deleting, and
adding phone numbers are still locked exactly as before.
Deleting a phone number now confirms
Deleting a phone number worked, but nothing said so — the dialog just closed.
You now get a “Phone number deleted” confirmation.
What this doesn’t change
Resuming SMS still only clears a carrier-delivery pause on that one contact’s
copy of the number. A contact who replied STOP is opted out for legal reasons,
and nothing in this screen can undo that.
