Bug Fix

The mobile app now explains why it can't load your account instead of locking you out

What We Fixed

Some people could sign in successfully on the mobile app and still be turned
away: the app showed “Unable to load your account. Please try again.” and
returned to the Welcome Back screen. Reinstalling and clearing saved passwords
didn’t help, because nothing on the phone was broken — the step right after
sign-in, the one that loads your profile and team, was being refused, and the
app discarded the whole session rather than saying so.

The most common cause was a team whose subscription had lapsed, or a sign-in
that landed on the wrong team when you belong to more than one. Either way the
app said the same unhelpful sentence and dropped you back at the start.

Now the app shows what actually happened, keeps you signed in while you sort it
out, and offers the next step instead of a dead end.

What you may notice

  • If your team’s subscription is inactive, the app says so by name and offers
Switch team (if you belong to an active one), Open billing, and
Try again — no more silent bounce to the login screen.
  • Pay or reactivate in your browser, come back to the app, and it unblocks on
its own; you no longer have to force-quit and reopen it.
  • Temporary problems — a slow connection, a rate limit, a server hiccup — now
show a real message with a working Try again, and keep your session instead of
making you sign in from scratch.
  • The team switcher marks teams whose subscription is inactive, so you can see
    before you tap.
