Bug Fix

Fixed "Resource not found" when closing a My Inbox conversation

What We Fixed

Closing a conversation in My Inbox sometimes failed with “Resource not
found”, and it looked random: the same thread would close fine on the second
try. Nothing was actually missing.

My Inbox threads are assembled on the fly from your texts, calls and
voicemails until the first time you act on one — the moment you open it, close
it, assign it or reply, it becomes a real conversation record. Opening a thread
marks it read, and that’s what turns it into a record. If you clicked Close
in the fraction of a second before the app caught up with that switch, the
close request still referred to the old, pre-record identity, which no longer
matched anything — hence “Resource not found”.

Both identities now resolve to the same conversation, so it no longer matters
which one your browser is holding when you click.

What you may notice

  • Closing a My Inbox conversation right after opening it now works the first
    time, however fast you click.
  • The same applies to assigning, replying, marking read or unread, and opening
a thread from a conversation list that hasn’t refreshed yet — including in a
second tab left open on the old list.
  • A closed My Inbox email thread now shows as closed when reopened by link,
    instead of appearing open again.
